Job summary

CADMAXX in Bengaluru seeks an ADAS Vehicle System Test Engineer to lead vehicle-level and system-level testing of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. The role emphasizes extensive on-road closed-loop testing, data collection, proving-ground validation, and diagnostics, with mandatory travel to OEM/customer sites.

You will instrument vehicles, analyze CAN/UDS logs, and validate CAN, CAN FD, and Automotive Ethernet communications.

Qualifications

• Strong ADAS domain knowledge (camera/radar-based systems).
• Hands-on experience with vehicle ADAS testing.
• Expertise in CAN, CAN FD, UDS (ISO 14229).
• Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape).
• Python automation exposure (Robot Framework / similar) - good to have.
• Automotive Ethernet knowledge - plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation on vehicle for data collection and log analysis.
• Execute vehicle-level ADAS testing for features like ACC, AEB, LKA, LDW, BSD, Park Assist.
• Create and execute test cases based on ADAS requirements and use cases.
• Conduct on-road, closed-track, and field testing under varied conditions.
• Analyze CAN and sensor logs, perform root cause analysis.
• Validate CAN, CAN FD, UDS, J1939, and Automotive Ethernet communication.
• Execute UDS diagnostics, DTC validation, and ECU flashing.
• Log, track, and support resolution of defects.
• Support system integration and release validation.
• Analyze logs with MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE tool chain.
• Travel to proving grounds, OEM/customer sites as required.
