Job summary

Actalent Services is seeking an engineer with 1–3 years of experience in packaging and vehicle integration. You will use Siemens NX to develop package concepts, create NX CAD models, and perform package checks while addressing packaging constraints and architecture considerations.

The role requires proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to document engineering changes, present technical findings, and support hybrid/EV packaging projects. Knowledge of HV battery and OBC is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Education: B.Tech/B.E. Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial Production.
• 1–3 years of relevant packaging / vehicle integration experience.
• Strong technical competence in Siemens NX and engineering tools.
• Familiarity with packaging constraints, vehicle architecture, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Create package concepts using benchmarking and packaging constraints.
• Create NX CAD models and perform regular package checks.
• Resolve packaging issues and prepare technical presentations.
• Document development in Smaragd and create engine movement/motion files.

• Relevant experience: About 1 to 3 years in packaging / vehicle integration.
• Technical competence: Excellent Siemens NX; Engineering Client/PDM; product design; assembly and fixturing; SRM part-number creation; change management.
• Professional skills: Vehicle BOM/configurations and engineering change workflow; packaging concepts and vehicle architecture; basic Hybrid/EV architecture including HV battery, OBC, power electronics, charging socket and electric motor; vehicle systems/subsystems and assembly process; Excel and PowerPoint.
• Responsibilities: Create package concepts using benchmarking and packaging constraints; create NX CAD models; regular package checks; resolve packaging issues; technical presentations; document development in Smaragd; create trunk surfaces, swept volumes, package-space volumes, wraparounds, envelopes, offsets, engine movement and motion files.
