Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced engineer to drive the application and integration of steering systems, driver assistance, and vehicle manoeuvring features for customer projects.

You will analyze requirements, plan tests, set application parameters, and validate releases on bench, lab, and real vehicles. The role requires 6–10 years of relevant experience, licenses, and strong communication, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech).
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in automotive steering, driver assistance or control systems.
• Valid 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler driving licenses; Commercial Vehicle license is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Application and integration of steering system, driver assistant and maneuvering systems for customer projects.
• Providing requirements analysis and test planning.
• Application of steering system and driver assistant systems into vehicles.
• Setting application parameters and performing system release tests on bench, lab and real vehicles.
• Supporting technical discussions/negotiations with customers and coordinating with vendors.

• Application and integration of steering system / driver assistant / maneuvering systems for customer projects
• Providing requirements analysis and test planning
• Application of steering system / driver assistant systems into the vehicles
• Setting application parameters
• System release test/validation on bench, in laboratory and on real vehicles

• Vendor interactions and proactive coordination
• Cooperation with development partners (SYS, HW, SW, CAD) and project manager
• Preparation and maintenance of project documents according to Bosch quality system
• Supporting the improvement of application processes

B.E/B.Tech, Me/M.Tech degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or comparable

Exp- 6 to 10 years

Valid 2 Wheeler and 4 Wheel Driving Licence is a must; having Commercial Vehicle Driving licence is an added advantage
