Job summary

Varun Beverages Limited is seeking a Quality Executive/Assistant Manager to oversee quality assurance from raw materials to finished products. The role focuses on maintaining quality standards, water quality testing, and ensuring hygienic processing conditions in the beverage manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Tech in Food Technology or MSc/BSc with chemistry or food technology background and has 3–8 years of relevant beverage industry experience.

Qualifications

• QA from raw material to finished product.
• Water quality testing per PepsiCo guidelines.
• Experience in beverage industry preferred (CSD & Water line).

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance from raw material to finished product, ensuring quality standards.
• Maintain Water Quality Testing Schedule and specifications as per guidelines.
• Ensure sanitary and hygienic conditions in processing areas and adhere to QAS/food-safety requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Line Chemist

Responsibility for Quality Assurance from raw material to finished product, Ensuring product quality at standard with Quality best practices.

Process Chemist

Monitor Water Quality Testing Schedule as per PepsiCo Guideline Maintain the Water Quality Specifications per PepsiCo Guideline. Maintain the Quality System in the Shift. Maintain & review the Documents on a daily basis as per PepsiCo. Prepare the Syrup as per schedule within time Frame. Follow the Syrup Testing Schedule & maintained the Specification as per norms. Monitor & Maintain the Sugar Delta as per Target in each Batch. Maintain the Sanitary & Hygienic conditions of the Processing area to achieve the Micro Results. Maintain the Process as per AIB(Food Safety), LRQA, FSSAI & QAS requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

B.Tech Food Technology / M Sc., B Sc. (Chemistry, Food Technology) and 3 to 8 years of experience in CSD & Water Line in Beverage Industry.
