Job summary

OpenSymmetry is seeking a Consultant to configure and troubleshoot Varicent-based performance management solutions for client requirements. The role involves lifecycle consulting from requirements gathering to go-live, with collaboration with senior consultants.

You will work across design, build, test phases and support engagements, and have opportunities to grow into leadership or architecture roles. You will work with client discovery sessions, perform configuration and development tasks, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of configuration experience within the Varicent Platform.
• Experience with Varicent Calculations, Composer, Presenter, Workflow, and Reporting modules.
• Exposure to ETL processes and data integration tools.
• External client facing experience / prior consulting experience.
• SQL & Data Analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure within the Varicent platform as per design provided.
• Own deliverables in any phase per assigned projects.
• Respond promptly to customer requests and within requested timelines.
• Collaborate with clients and internal project teams throughout implementation and support engagements.
• Provide SIT / UAT Test phase support related to owned deliverables.
• Demonstrates the ability to solve complex problems.

Position Summary

The Consultant will be responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting of Varicent based performance management solutions to meet the client’s business and technical requirements. This position requires a proactive and motivated professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing assigned deliverables while collaborating effectively with Senior Consultant to ensure successful client outcomes.

Responsibilities in this role also include consulting throughout the software implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, build, testing and go-live. Consultants will work with senior team members to capture and validate notes from client discovery and review sessions then performing configuration and development tasks both independently as well as under the direction of senior team members.

• Good knowledge on Compensation rules and underlying attributes mapping
• Own specific deliverables in any phase per assigned projects

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Make meaningful contributions to requirements and design documentation
• Configure application per design specifications
• Collaborate with clients and internal project teams throughout implementation and support engagements
• Provide SIT / UAT Test phase support related to owned deliverables
• Demonstrates the ability to solve complex problems
• Share knowledge with colleague / team members

Nice to Have Skills
