Business Analyst - Logistics & Supply Chain - Agile
Responsibilities
- Partnering with business stakeholders to narrow in on the problems and goals.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Responsible for technical backlog management, prioritization, and evaluation.
- Closely work with Scrum team(s) to ensure time-boxed achievement of impeccable technical, nonfunctional features and functionality of the product and platform.
- Take lead of scrum teams as Technical Product Owner and manage multiple scrum teams.
- Prepare functional-technical solutions that fulfill the requirements and add value to the product feature set.
- Provide direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders with a clear roadmap.
- Familiar with web-application technologies/standards such as React, REST, node.js, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Lean-Agile software development principles and practices.
- Create Epics and Stories, ensuring development teams understand purpose and objectives.
- Prioritize Stories in a product backlog according to business needs and value.
- Support technical design process by defining user journeys, preparing/guiding wireframes, and identifying technical solutions with the best practices of the latest API frameworks.
- Convert solutions for epics into features that are defined and refined within the product/platform backlog.
- Effectively manage backlog, iteration planning, and elaboration of user stories and technical acceptance criteria.
- Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
Requirements
- Work as part of an Agile team to deliver high-quality business analytics solutions for project stakeholders.
- Good to have functional domain knowledge in Logistics & Supply Chain & Payments.
- Engage with end-users and client users to identify, develop, document, validate, and endorse the requirements of their unit.
- Demonstrate Agile behaviors that emphasize collaboration, delivery, reflection, and improvement.
- Deliver internal training for new features to team members and end-users by identifying needs, preparing materials, and delivering as needed.
- Consult with the business and product owners to prioritize and shape the product backlog.
- Work with product managers and epic owners to develop business cases, as required.
- Provide multi-disciplinary teams with user stories and coaching to define business-driven acceptance criteria and test cases.
- Proactively support the uplift of Agile practices and foster a culture of continual service improvement.
- Consult with and advise product managers when defining product release content and timeline.
- Assist with the elaboration of user stories and requirements, supporting team members with their work where required.
- Participate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies and rituals.
- Participate in the creation of low or high-fidelity prototypes.
- Keep abreast with DevOps Best practices, Continuous Integration Pipeline, Agile/Scrum best practices, and new development trends.
