Job Description
- Support end-to-end M&A activities including target evaluation, due diligence preparation, deal documentation and integration planning
- Assist in developing information memoranda, business cases and transaction models for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with finance, legal, compliance, marketing and other internal departments to ensure smooth deal execution and transition activities
- Monitor industry and market trends to inform strategic insights and opportunity assessment
- Conduct deep-dive financial and operational analysis to identify value drivers, synergies and areas for improvement
- Build and maintain financial models (e.g., DCF, scenario, sensitivity analysis) to support valuation and strategic decisions
- Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align on strategic priorities and execution plans
- Prepare business cases, investment memos and presentation materials for internal stakeholders - leadership and Board of Directors
- Coordinate interaction with external advisors, consultants and transaction partners as required
- Quantify and track realized vs. expected value creation outcomes, ensuring accountability for key metrics
- Contribute to the development of playbooks, value creation frameworks and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
- Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields (MBA/CA/CFA preferred) with a good academic background
- 7-10 years of professional experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, strategy, investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, private equity or related analytical roles
- Hands-on experience with financial modelling, valuation techniques and project execution
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, influencing stakeholders and deriving actionable insights from data
- Strong capability to interpret financial data and turn insights into strategic recommendations
- Comfortable owning workstreams independently and managing priorities
- Ability to understand business drivers beyond the numbers and challenge assumptions constructively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to senior audiences
- Willingness to work across changing priorities and evolving deal landscapes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Integrity, discretion and ability to handle confidential information

- Experience with data visualization / BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) a plus
- Familiarity with financial reporting standards (Ind AS/IFRS) will be an advantage
