Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of testing experience with embedded systems.
• Experience with bug life cycle and TFS/Azure DevOps is essential.
• Hands-on use of function generators and digital multimeters is required.
• Proficient in test execution and development using Visual Studio with C#, SpecFlow, and Gherkin.
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot failures in scripts.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, control validation, and industry protocols is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the coordination, integration, validation, and debugging of system software, including managing validation environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive system-level test setups for product validation, ensuring they reflect real-world scenarios.
• Maintain a holistic view of the system to validate integrated firmware and software against architectural goals.
• Create detailed validation plans, develop automated test cases, and execute testing procedures while debugging and triaging failures.
• Collaborate with architects, firmware developers, program managers, and component teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Implement innovative testing methodologies to enhance test coverage, automate release and testing processes, and improve efficiency.
• Work alongside technicians to maintain and improve validation setups, ensuring they are up-to-date and effective.
• Coordinate with sourcing teams to procure necessary hardware and software components for validation activities.
• Act as a point of contact for platform-level issues, providing expert troubleshooting and ensuring systemic resolution.
