Job Requirements:

• CPC Certified with any graduation
• Excellent knowledge of Anatomy
• Good knowledge of medical coding systems, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts, and principles

Job Descriptions:

• Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures using ICD (International Classification of Diseases) and CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes
• Ensure codes are accurate and correctly sequenced following government and insurance regulations
• Search for information in complex or unusual coding cases
• Review patient charts and documents for accuracy
• Review the previous day's batch of patient notes for evaluation and coding
• Ensure all codes are current and active
