About uTrade Solutions: uTrade is a FinTech company providing a multi-asset full suite trading platform, low latency algos engine, risk management, and DMA FIX gateway. Our products are widely used by global financial institutions including Brokers, Algo Firms, Banks, Stock Exchanges, Fund managers, and their end customers.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Be the first point of contact for Windows and OS X software and laptop hardware issues.
2. Track, inventory IT hardware assets and their software configurations.
3. Resolve and troubleshoot Disk, memory, CPU, and file system issues on Windows Server and Linux (CentOS/FreeBSD, Windows Server 2012/2016) servers.
4. Knowledge of Networking, Firewalls, and IPS systems.
5. Strong understanding of networking protocols – TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS.
6. Configuring, testing, and troubleshooting of network equipment such as Cisco routers/switches.
7. Maximise network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems, and outages.
8. Lease line management, firewall configuration, VPN setup.
9. Experience managing, supporting, and deploying network infrastructures.
10. Patch Windows Server 2012 and CentOS servers in accordance with Security advisories.
11. Administration of Linux Servers (CentOS) and Microsoft AD (RDS, WSUS, IIS).
12. Knowledge of administering basic Linux services like LVM, SSH, FTP, Nagios, etc.
13. Experience with setting up web applications on Linux preferably using Nginx and Haproxy and configuring SSL certificates.
14. Bash/Python scripting is a must (Windows PowerShell is a plus).
15. Backup/Restore and administration of RDBMS (Postgresql preferably).
16. Knowledge of CI/CD (Jenkins).
17. Knowledge of Git.
