JOB SUMMARY
The position involves offering banking solutions to clients in various segments, including government, financial institutions, corporates, and TASC (Trusts, Associations, Societies, Clubs) with an emphasis on liabilities and fee income.
The role includes acquiring new clients, focusing on liabilities (CASA/WTD) and Payments & Cash Management products, while collaborating closely with product teams and branches to enhance customer acquisition, service, and engagement.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY
- Acquiring new clients in the government and institutional sectors within your assigned geography/cluster.
- Understanding liability products to effectively engage with potential clients who are new to the bank.
- Managing existing key relationships in the same area to deepen engagement with clients already part of the bank’s portfolio.
- Possessing knowledge of payment and cash management, as well as familiarity with various electronic payment products, government agency business, trade finance, and foreign exchange.
- Building strong relationships with branches within your assigned area to provide efficient service to existing institutional clients and support them in acquiring new clients.
- Ensuring that the branches in the assigned area meet their budgets, which involves providing necessary product training, creating proposals, and maintaining coordination with the Zonal Office and Head Office to achieve targets and objectives effectively.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Candidates should have a minimum educational qualification of being a graduate.
- A postgraduate degree, preferably an MBA or CA, is preferred.
- Additionally, candidates should possess relevant work experience ranging from 3 to 10 years.
