Job summary

Quality Hr Services is seeking a seasoned Utility Executive to operate and monitor boiler systems and related equipment at Mundra - Kutch. The role requires 7-9 years of relevant experience in chemical industry settings, with strong focus on safety, process control, and reliable operation.

Responsibilities include managing water chemistry, adjusting fuel and air flows, and maintaining comprehensive operation logs. Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical engineering or equivalent is required.
• 7-9 years of experience in boiler/utility operations.
• Knowledge of boiler operation, water chemistry, safety protocols and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor boilers and auxiliary equipment to supply steam/heat.
• Read gauges/meters and adjust water/fuel/air to maintain safe boiler operation.
• Test and manage boiler water chemistry, prevent corrosion and deposits.
• Maintain logs of operations, maintenance, and safety activities.
• Inspect equipment and alarms to detect leaks or malfunctions and ensure efficiency.

Job description

Position: Utility Executive

Location: Mundra - Kutch

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend boilers auxiliary equipments such as pumps, compressors and air-conditioning equipment, to supply and maintain steam or heat to pneumatic tools.
• Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters and charts registering various aspects of boiler operation to ensure that boilers are operating properly.
• Test boiler water quality or arrange for testing and take necessary corrective action, such as adding chemicals to prevent corrosion and harmful deposits.
• Activate valves to maintain required amounts of water in boilers, to adjust supplies of combustion air, and to control the flow of fuel into burners.
• Monitor boiler water, chemical and fuel levels, and make adjustments to maintain required levels.
• Monitor and inspect equipment, computer terminals, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices and meters, periodically, to detect leaks or malfunctions and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
• Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment and systems.
• Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work.
• Adjust controls and valves on equipment to provide power, and to regulate and set operations of system or industrial processes.
