Es Magico AI Studio is a venture studio located in Mumbai & Bengaluru, collaborating with early-stage start-ups to bring innovative AI products to life through product design and technology. Our focus is on Generative AI-driven products (0 - 1), B2B SaaS, and scalable technology with modern, intuitive UX at the core.

Role Overview

As a Senior UX Designer at Es Magico with 5+ years of experience, you will lead design initiatives for innovative digital and AI-first products. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including AI engineers and product managers—to craft user-centric experiences that make complex AI technologies accessible, ethical, and intuitive for end users. Your work will directly shape the next generation of intelligent tools and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end UX design process for AI-driven and SaaS products, from research and concepting to high-fidelity delivery.
Mentor and guide junior designers, promoting design thinking and continuous learning.

2) User Research & Strategy

Conduct user research and usability testing specifically for AI features—such as chat interfaces, AI-assisted workflows, and explainability tools.
Translate insights into intuitive user journeys that balance user needs with the complexity of AI output.

3) Prototyping & Wireframing

Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile platforms, especially in contexts where the AI system is a core user touchpoint.
Design interactions that promote user trust, transparency, and control in AI-driven experiences.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and AI engineers to ensure technical feasibility aligns with user experience goals.
Present design solutions effectively, showcasing how they make AI more usable and valuable to users.
Stay up to date with emerging trends in AI UX—including prompt design, conversational UX, data visualization for AI insights, and responsible AI design practices.
Continuously refine internal design systems to accommodate new AI components and patterns.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio, ideally including work on AI-powered or complex data-driven products.
Education: Degree in Design, HCI, or related field.

Skills

Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, or other design tools.
Deep understanding of UX principles and user-centered design.
Familiarity with designing for AI/ML features—like recommendations, chatbots, auto-complete, and analytics dashboards.
Ability to simplify complex systems into elegant, intuitive user interfaces.
Strong collaboration, communication, and storytelling skills.
Experience with responsive design and mobile-first thinking.
