Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Interaction Design.

• Strong expertise in User Research and Design Thinking to understand user needs and inform design decisions.
• Proficiency in UX design, including wireframing, user flows, interaction design and design systems.
• Skills in Visual Design and Prototyping, with the ability to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a User Experience Designer based in Bengaluru. The User Experience Designer will be responsible for designing seamless user experiences, conducting user research, applying design thinking principles, and creating prototypes to validate designs. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, the designer will develop and refine visually compelling and functional solutions that meet user needs and align with Honda's brand standards.

This is a strategic build-out with leadership visibility and long-term significance.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Protopie, Blender and similar software
• Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design principles
• Ability to present ideas clearly to stakeholders and leadership

Preferred

• Experience in automotive industry and portfolio covering vehicle UX.
• Experience designing for emerging markets or India-first users
• Experience working with developers in agile product environments
• Prior experience in leading UX design projects is a plus
• Build a new strategic capability for Global Honda from the ground up
• Work directly with global teams and leadership from the HQ on high-impact business priorities
