Job summary

Inspire Your Idea is seeking a remote User Experience Designer to craft intuitive, user-centered experiences for multiple venture projects. You will collaborate with founders, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate user needs into clear flows, wireframes, and prototypes.

You will conduct user research, map journeys, contribute to design standards, and help maintain consistency across products while working autonomously in a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in user-centered design Thinking and UX principles.
• Experience in user research: planning, interviews, usability tests, insights.
• Proficiency in visual and interaction design with accessible practices.
• Prototyping and wireframing using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD; rapid iteration.
• Able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in startups or multiple projects; remote work setup preferred.

Role Description

This full-time remote User Experience Designer role focuses on creating intuitive, user-centered experiences for digital products across multiple venture projects. The User Experience Designer will collaborate with founders, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, define experience goals, and translate them into clear interaction flows and design solutions. Daily tasks include conducting user research, mapping user journeys, developing wireframes and prototypes, and iterating on designs based on feedback and data. The role also involves contributing to visual and interaction design standards, ensuring consistency across products, and documenting design decisions and guidelines.

The User Experience Designer is expected to work independently in a remote setting while actively participating in virtual workshops, design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in user-centered Design Thinking and User Experience (UX), with the ability to translate complex problems into clear, usable solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in User Research, including planning studies, conducting interviews or usability tests, and synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Visual Design and interaction design, with an eye for layout, typography, color, and accessible, inclusive design practices.
• Hands-on skills in Prototyping and wireframing using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD), and comfort iterating rapidly based on feedback.
• Effective collaboration skills, including clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Experience working in startup, product, or innovation environments, ideally across multiple projects or domains.
• Understanding of basic front-end capabilities and constraints (e.g., HTML, CSS, responsive design) is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote, distributed team and manage priorities across concurrent initiatives.
