Job Description – US Taxation

Position: US Taxation Professional

Job Locations: Hyderabad & Ahmedabad

We are looking for a qualified US Taxation Professional with hands‑on experience in preparing and reviewing US Individual and Corporate Tax Returns. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US tax laws and practical experience with Forms 1040 and 1120.

Qualification

• Enrolled Agent (EA) – Qualified, or


• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified, or


• CPA – Qualified

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review US Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040).


• Prepare and review US Corporate Tax Returns (Form 1120).


• Analyze tax documents and financial information to ensure accurate tax return preparation.


• Apply relevant US federal and state tax regulations while preparing returns.


• Identify tax issues, discrepancies, and opportunities for accurate tax reporting.


• Maintain proper documentation and workpapers supporting tax returns.


• Coordinate with internal teams and/or clients to obtain required information.


• Ensure timely completion of tax assignments in accordance with applicable deadlines.


• Stay updated on changes in US tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.


• Assist with tax notices, amendments, and other tax-related assignments as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Practical experience in US Taxation.


• Hands‑on experience with both Form 1040 and Form 1120 is mandatory.


• Strong understanding of US federal taxation and tax compliance.


• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.


• Experience with US tax preparation software will be an advantage.

Preferred Profile

• Qualified EA / CA / CPA with relevant US taxation experience.


• Candidates with experience handling both individual and corporate tax returns are preferred.


• Candidates should be willing to work in a US-taxation environment and align with US tax-season requirements.
