Purpose of the position:

The JDE Developer Specialist plays a critical role in analyzing business requirements, assessing their global impact, and designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the JD Edwards OneWorld toolset. This position also supports JDE upgrade and migration initiatives, collaborating closely with systems development teams, business analysts, end-users, offshore and onsite consultants, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on JDE expert with strong technical proficiency and a solid understanding of functional processes. This role requires the ability to translate complex business needs into robust technical solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze, design, develop, and implement new JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications using the JDE EnterpriseOne Software Development Toolset.
• Understand and translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Build business integration components leveraging JDE 9.2 technologies to connect JD Edwards with key Linde systems such as myID and eChannel (CA and MX).
• Collaborate within a team to develop new applications, migrate legacy systems, and provide ongoing support for existing applications.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and deliver training for users on all new development and modifications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and project managers,demonstrating strong interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
