Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group is seeking an experienced Urban Sewerage / Wastewater Expert to support a major urban sewerage and wastewater project in Varanasi, India. The role focuses on planning, design review and implementation of wastewater infrastructure, working with the client, consultants and project team.

To qualify, the candidate should hold a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree and have 15+ years of relevant experience in urban sewerage projects, with strong knowledge of Indian standards

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in urban sewerage and wastewater projects.
• Experience with urban sewerage networks and wastewater collection systems.
• Experience in design review, PMC/consultancy or construction supervision.
• Experience delivering large-scale urban water/wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of Indian standards and regulations.
• Strong technical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience on major Indian water/wastewater projects preferred.

The role will provide technical expertise in the planning, design review and implementation of urban sewerage and wastewater infrastructure, working closely with the client, consultants and project team.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in urban sewerage and wastewater projects.
• Strong experience in urban sewerage networks, wastewater collection systems and related infrastructure.
• Experience in design review, PMC/consultancy or construction supervision.
