Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Thane seeks an Associate Lead for Group Consolidation & Reporting to oversee global consolidation and financial reporting across subsidiaries and joint ventures. The role emphasizes Ind AS/IFRS compliance, SAP Group Reporting, and automation initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have CA with 8–10+ years post-qualification, strong consolidation experience in a multinational setting, and proficiency in SAP GR/BPC, Excel modelling, and reporting automation.

Qualifications

• CA with 8–10+ years post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 5 years of group consolidation in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, consolidation accounting, intercompany eliminations, equity accounting, and audit processes.
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting or BPC in SAP R3/S4 HANA.
• Reporting automation tools and advanced MS Excel & financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, ownership changes, and equity accounting.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and ensure adherence to reporting timelines.
• Administer and enhance SAP Group Reporting, including master data governance, validation controls, reconciliations, and system improvements.
• Develop and automate management reporting and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or related tools.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders to support statutory audits, reviews, and compliance requirements.
• Provide support for acquisitions, restructuring activities, PPA.
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and finance transformation projects to improve reporting efficiency.
• Support Board, Investor Relations, Treasury, and Corporate Finance reporting and analysis requirements.
• Collaborate with global finance teams and promote governance, reporting standards, and best practices.

Associate Lead Group Consolidation & Reporting

Role Summary:

The Associate Lead Group Consolidation & Reporting will support UPL Groups global consolidation and financial reporting processes across subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely consolidation under Ind AS and IFRS, managing SAP Group Reporting activities, supporting management and statutory reporting, providing technical accounting guidance, and contributing to finance transformation and automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, ownership changes, and equity accounting.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8-10+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing group consolidation in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, consolidation accounting, intercompany eliminations, equity accounting, and audit processes.
• Experience with any consolidation tool preferable SAP Group Reporting or BPC in SAP R3/S4 HANA environment.
• Reporting Automation Tools, Advanced MS Excel and Financial Modelling.

Preferred Profile:

• A proactive and hands-on finance professional with strong consolidation and technical accounting expertise in a listed entity with 50+ subsidiaries, experience in SAP GR / BPC/Any other consolidation tool, exposure to audits and transformation projects, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
