Job summary

Emkay Wealth is expanding its Private Markets franchise to source and distribute unlisted investments and pre-IPO opportunities for HNIs, UHNI, and family offices.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Product Teams, and external market intermediaries to evaluate, structure, and present compelling investment opportunities. The role emphasizes client communications, risk considerations, and exit scenarios within a scalable private markets platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing unlisted investments and pre-IPO opportunities.
• Knowledge of valuation and deal structuring in private markets.
• Experience with relationship management with UHNI, Family Offices and strategic investors.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow Emkay Wealth's Unlisted Investments pipeline.
• Drive revenue and asset mobilisation through private market offerings.
• Develop client-focused investment materials including rationale, drivers, valuations, risks and exits.
• Review financial statements and assess valuations.
• Prepare investment notes and client presentations.
• Maintain ongoing investor engagement and track funding events and IPO developments.

Role Overview

The role is responsible for driving the growth of Emkay Wealth's Unlisted Investments and Private Markets platform by sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and distributing unlisted equity and pre-IPO investment opportunities to HNIs, UHNIs, Family Offices, and Corporate Treasuries.

The incumbent will work closely with Relationship Managers, Product Teams, Family Offices, Investment Banks, VC/PE Funds, and external market intermediaries to create a scalable private markets franchise within Emkay Wealth.

Key Responsibilities

Private Markets Business Development

• Build and grow Emkay Wealth's Unlisted Investments business.
• Create a pipeline of quality pre-IPO and unlisted investment opportunities.
• Drive revenue and asset mobilisation through private market offerings.
• Develop relationships with Family Offices, UHNI investors and strategic investors.

Product Positioning

Develop client-oriented investment communication material including:

• Investment rationale
• Key growth drivers
• Valuation summary
• Risk considerations
• Exit scenarios
• Support Relationship Managers in positioning opportunities to clients.

Investment Evaluation

• Review financial statements.
• Assess valuations.
• Understand risks and exit pathways.
• Prepare investment notes and client presentations.

Investor Relationship Management

• Maintain ongoing engagement with investors by:
• Providing company updates
• Tracking valuation changes
• Communicating funding events
