Job summary

Expleo in Chennai is seeking an Automotive Engineer to join our team transforming mobility with autonomous, electric, and digital solutions. You will help global automotive giants optimize performance, sustainability, and safety through innovative approaches and rigorous quality standards.

You will contribute to BIW processes, trim assembly, and torque sequencing, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure 100% torque accuracy and TPM-compliant assembly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile engineering.
• Experience in OEM environments preferred.
• Knowledge of BIW processes and vehicle assembly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure BIW marking and cutting meet unit catalogue specs.
• Supervise complete vehicle trim assembly per TPM file.
• Verify torque and assembly sequence per FOP.
• Fabricate trolleys to keep units aligned with TPM data.

4-6 years of experience in other OEM with similar activities.

• BIW cutting without damage
• Complete vehicle Trim parts assembly in cut body / Full body as per TPM file.
• Understand FOP to ensure 100% Torque and assembly sequence.
