Job summary

Expleo is seeking an Automotive Engineer/Project Manager to lead and manage all engineering activities related to vehicle assembly operations, driving efficient, safe, and high-quality assembly processes.

Qualifications

• BE Mechanical or equivalent is required.
• Overall 12–15 years of experience in the Automotive field.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of Design and Simulation software.
• Interest in learning digitization, AI, Industry 4.0 and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Understand the client requirement, get complete clarity on the project scope.
• Prepare technical proposals and work with cross-functional teams for necessary internal approvals before proposal submission.
• Set up a project organization, hire new resources if required, set up delivery teams based on the nature of the project.
• Drive the team for delivery of projects, own the project deliverables & KPI, prepare and drive improvement plans.
• Handle day-to-day project management activities, client communication, updates to leadership.
• Plan for building of new capabilities for the team to win new clients.

The Vehicle Assembly Engineering or Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing all engineering activities related to vehicle assembly operations. This role ensures efficient, safe, and high-quality assembly processes while driving continuous improvement and supporting new model launches.

• Understand the client requirement , get complete clarity on the project scope ,
• Prepare technical proposals and work with CFT teams for necessary internal approvals before proposal submission
• Set up a project organization, hiring new resource , if required , set up delivery teams based on the nature of project
• Drive team for delivery of projects , own the project deliverables & KPI , Prepare and drive the improvement plans
• Handle day to day project management activities , client communication , updates to the leadership
• Plan for building of new capabilities for the team in order to win new clients

Qualifications

• Education - BE Mechanical or equivalent .
• Must be from Manufacturing Engineering background
• Engineer with overall 12 ~15 years of experience in Automotive field
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
• Knowledge of Design and Simulation softwares'
• Interested to learn new skills in digitization , AI , industry 4.0 and beyond
