Position Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of the Unilever supply chain vision and evolving business requirements. Work together with business leaders, regional teams and translate those needs into technology programs

Establish yourself as the first point of contact for all matters relevant to the Transportation – IT agenda for markets teams. Lead the delivery of innovation roadmap for market(s), manage BAU enhancements and application support

Work with a ‘Glocal’ (Global + Local) mindset – while addressing local requirements from market, also help in driving Application convergence within the Function, from Local -> Regional -> Global

Understand and interpret IT strategic architecture, helping ensure all projects and application support follow the principles, guidelines, and standards.

Position Requirements –

We are looking for people with functional knowledge in Logistics and experience of working in large scale IT Projects.

Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree in engineering/Science or similar degree along with 5+ years of relevant experience in Logistics – IT. Master’s degree in management will be a plus.

Strong stakeholder management skills – will have to work directly with markets across multiple geographies

Excellent communication skills to lead discussions with technical as well as non-technical audiences

Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams including external product teams

Ability to lead a team of vendor partners

Creative problem-solving mindset with a bias for practical solutions. A quick learner, not afraid to take the initiative and be proactive to get things done
