Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Accountant to join our growing finance team.

This position will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations related to our US-based clients, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, tax regulations, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and possess the ability to handle financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

– Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.

– Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

– Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with US federal and state tax laws.

– Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial statements.

– Assist with budgeting and forecasting for US-based operations.

– Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.

– Coordinate audits and support external auditors in providing required documents.

– Identify and recommend improvements for accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

– CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

– 3+ years of experience in US accounting, with a solid understanding of US GAAP and tax laws.
