Job description

Job Summary:

We are building an Investment Advisory platform for the 100 million user-strong retail segment. Retail users don't have access to large investment advisory services which only cater to HNIs. Our vision is to become the largest wealth management company for the retail segment. We seek a dynamic and customer-centric Assistant Manager to lead both sales and care functions for PowerUp Money. This role involves setting up processes, tracking effectiveness, and identifying opportunities for growth. Please note that this position requires working from the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall:

- Be the POC for all Tele-sales and Care operations for PowerUp Money

- Ensure that the SOP is being followed for both sales and care processes

- Lead the team of sales and care agents - Training, Quality Check, and Performance evaluation

Sales:

- Drive new customer acquisition through inbound and outbound sales initiatives

- Identify client needs and recommend suitable investment products and WealthTech solutions

- Conduct product demos and onboarding for high-intent leads

- Meet or exceed monthly sales and conversion targets

- Collaborate with marketing for lead generation campaigns and feedback

- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and pipelines using CRM tools

Customer Care:

- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer queries related to investment products, transactions, and platform features

- Act as a product expert and educate users on investment planning, usage, and tools

- Coordinate with internal teams Product, Operations, Compliance to resolve escalations

- Monitor customer feedback and identify areas for process and product improvement

- Build long-term relationships with clients to drive retention and referrals

Must-have Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus

- 4-6 years of experience in B2C/B2B sales or customer success, ideally in financial services, fintech, or wealth management. Among that, 2+ years of experience in handling a team size of 6-10

- Strong knowledge of mutual funds, insurance, SIPS, and other investment products

- Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills

- Comfort with digital tools, CRM software e.g., Ameo, leadsquared, Ozontel, and analytics

- SEBI/IRDA certification is a plus or willingness to obtain

Nice-to-have Skills:

- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment

- Knowledge of investment advisory regulations and compliance

- CRM tools Ameo, leadsquared, Ozontel

- Microsoft Office Suite

- Analytical tools for performance tracking

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field

- MBA preferred
