Job summary

Accenture is seeking a fresh graduate to join its General Insurance team in India as an Underwriting New Associate. You will support Property & Casualty underwriting activities, policy servicing, and data gathering to prepare quotes and renewals.

This entry-level role offers exposure to underwriting cycles, collaboration with a supportive team, and potential for rotation. Graduation in any field is acceptable; 0–1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing.
• Experience with underwriting cycle tasks such as submission, indication, policy issuance, endorsements.
• Familiarity with Re-Insurance Fac and Treaty business is a plus.
• Working under supervision with clear daily instructions and rotations.

What would you do?

• 0-3 years of experience in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing across shared services/Third Party BPO service providers (Essential)

You would be part of General Insurance team, where would you be managing, Claims Adjudication, Claims Processing /Portfolio Management. Checking on Fraudulent Claims Rating and quoting including receipt, clearance, data gathering and submission for operation of insurance services to set-up new business or renewal submissions in the support of developing an insurance quote.

What are we looking for?

• Hands on experience of managing the one of the following tasks from the earlier experience from Insurance Underwriting Cycle – Submission, Indication, Policy Issuance, Premium Audit/booking, Policy maintenance, Endorsement, Quote/Booking, Aggregation / Modeling, Benchmarking, Binders Processing, renewal prep. Doc management, Indexing, invoicing, Loss Run
• Good to have someone with experience in Re-Insurance Fac and Treaty business.
• You will be working within your team and direct supervisor.
• You will be provided detailed to a moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments and the decisions that you make that would impact your work.
