Description

Highly technical professional responsible for the design, deployment and support of Enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate should possess a good understanding of computer platforms, network services and applications. Working knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, specifically SilverPeak edge Connect and virtualized infrastructure on converged compute platforms. Candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills with experience working with international network and systems operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implement and support enterprise-level network infrastructure with some understanding of Zero Trust Network Architecture.
2. Maintain and support hybrid network environment which includes on-prem datacenters and the enterprise presence in the public cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS).
3. Collaborate with global IT teams on implementations, capacity planning and administration of next generation technologies.
4. Partner with matrixed IT delivery organizations (e.g., PMO) to deliver project, sub-project and production support activities.
5. Monitor and verify availability of all Network hardware and related services, ensure any available patches and mitigation for vulnerabilities have been applied.
6. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time and audit systems and assess their outcomes.
7. Produce and update Network performance reports and design document for IT operations team.

Qualifications

1. Solid understanding and direct hands-on experience with SDWAN technologies, Juniper switches, Palo Alto, HP Aruba Wireless, Infoblox (DNS/DHCP) and out-of-band console server.
2. Understanding of converged compute platforms as they apply to Virtualized Network Functions. The new network and security infrastructure are being deployed on this collapsed hyperconverged computing platform requiring an understanding of VMware ESXi, Dell hardware platforms and virtual distributed switching.
3. Knowledge of distributed applications and interoperability.
4. ITIL certified with hands-on experience with service-now ticketing system.
5. Knowledge in Network Automation with python will be preferred.
