Job summary

TC Professional Services seeks a detail-oriented UK Accountant to finalise year-end accounts for UK-based clients from India. You will manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and UK tax compliance, with direct client interaction and independence.

Responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, liaising on tax filings, and working with platforms like Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and CCH. This role offers international exposure and a flexible Noida/remote work option.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in UK year-end accounting.
• Strong technical skills in financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Excellent knowledge of UK tax and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise accounts for UK companies (P&L, Balance Sheet, reconciliations, annual accounts, reports).
• Handle FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A accounts for diverse structures (Ltd, partnerships, sole traders).
• Work on accounting platforms including Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, CCH.
• Analyse ledgers, post year-end journal entries and adjustments.
• Prepare UK CT600 returns.
• Interact directly with clients with clear communication and service quality.
• Stay updated on UK taxation and payroll guidelines.

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented UK Accountant with strong experience in year-end accounts finalisation. You will manage financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance for a portfolio of UK-based clients. This is a role that combines technical expertise, independence, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalise accounts for UK companies (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, reconciliations, annual accounts, and reports).
• Handle FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A accounts for diverse business structures (limited companies, partnerships, sole traders).
• Work confidently on accounting platforms including CCH, Iris, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
• Analyse general ledgers, record journal entries, and post year-end adjustments.
• Prepare UK Corporation Tax (CT600) returns.
• Collaborate directly with clients, providing high-quality service and clear communication.
• Stay up to date with UK taxation and payroll guidelines.
• Manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in UK year-end accounting.
• Strong technical skills in financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Excellent knowledge of UK tax and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Xero/Sage/QuickBooks/CCH).
