Job summary

Gunadhya Software is seeking a creative UI/UX Design Intern to craft simple, attractive, and user-centric digital products. You will collaborate with design, development, QA, and business teams to gain hands-on experience on real-world web and mobile apps.

You will create wireframes, prototypes, and UI components using Figma, and learn to translate requirements into usable designs while staying current with UI/UX trends. Freshers are welcome to apply and grow with mentorship.

• Portfolio submission required for evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
• Design user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Understand requirements and convert them into effective design solutions.
• Create user flows and basic UX journeys.
• Develop clean and consistent UI designs.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
• Iterate designs based on client and team feedback.
• Review interfaces and suggest usability improvements.

UI/UX Design Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic UI/UX Design Intern who is interested in designing simple, attractive, and user-friendly digital products.

The selected candidate will work closely with our design, development, QA, and business teams and get hands-on experience in designing real-world web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma.
• Design user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Understand business and user requirements and convert them into effective design solutions.
• Create user flows and basic UX journeys.
• Develop clean and consistent UI designs.
• Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly.
• Make design improvements based on feedback from clients and internal teams.
• Review existing interfaces and suggest improvements for better usability.
• Maintain basic design guidelines and reusable UI components.
• Stay updated with current UI/UX trends and best practices.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Good working knowledge of Figma.
• Understanding of wireframing, prototyping, and user flows.
• Basic knowledge of responsive design.
• Understanding of typography, spacing, colours, and visual hierarchy.
• Good creative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand requirements and convert them into designs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and accept feedback.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.
• Understanding of design systems and reusable components.

• Knowledge of accessibility and basic UX best practices.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors degree or pursuing graduation in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Tech/BE, B.Sc. IT/CS, or a related field.
• Freshers and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with relevant academic, personal, or UI/UX projects will be preferred.
• A UI/UX portfolio or Figma projects will be an added advantage.
