Job summary

EmergeWiz is seeking a skilled UI/UX designer to refine the visual presentation of our website and web applications. You will collaborate with Design to translate requirements into polished interfaces, ensure brand consistency, and optimize usability across devices for a superior user experience.

The role emphasizes building reusable UI components, staying current with technologies, and delivering fast, scalable solutions while validating user input and aligning with W3C standards.

Qualifications

• Expert in code versioning tools, especially GIT.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, CorelDraw for graphics design.
• Wireframing and design tools: Sketch, Figma; strong UX/process knowledge.
• Responsive design skills for multi-device delivery.
• Familiar with Web performance monitoring tools (GT Metrix, Page Speed).
• Basic SEO principles understood.
• CMS and major frameworks knowledge is a plus.
• Outstanding multitasking and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Job description

• Work closely with our Design team to understand the design and UI/UX requirementsbetter.
• Maintain and improve the presentability of our website and web applications.
• Optimize the design and performance of web applications for robust user experience.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and other team members to improve usability
• Ensure brand consistency and high-quality graphics standards
• Stay updated on the latest technologies.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
• Governing the whole user interface and experience and meet W3C requirements

Skills Required:

• Expert in understanding of code versioning tools, GIT, etc.
• Knowledge about designing tools like Adobe Photoshop, CorelDraw etc.
• Experience with wireframing /design tools such as Sketch, Figma and Deep familiarity withUX processes, design systems.
• Working knowledge of responsive design and how to deliver high value content andfunctionality to multiple devices
• Knowledge of Web Performance Monitoring tools like GT Metrix, Web Page Test, SolarWindsPingdom, Page Speed Insights, Uptrends, Dotcom-Monitor, Site24x7, and Uptime Robot.
• Good understanding of basic SEO principles.
• Knowledge of content management systems & other major frameworks will be an addedadvantage.
• Outstanding multitasking and analytical abilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with development teams in a SCRUM / Agile Methodologies Experience.
