Key Responsibilities:

1. User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing specific to accounting tasks to gather insights and identify user needs. Analyze data to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mock-ups for both desktop and mobile applications to visualize design concepts and user flows.
3. Visual Design: Develop visually appealing designs that are intuitive and align with our brand identity, ensuring a consistent look and feel across all platforms.
4. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and marketing, to ensure successful implementation of designs in both desktop and mobile apps.
5. Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to enhance design consistency and usability.
6. Iterative Design: Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing, ensuring continuous improvement of user experience.
7. HTML/CSS Knowledge: Utilize strong HTML/CSS skills to create functional prototypes and assist development teams in implementing designs effectively.
8. Stay Updated: Keep up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design, particularly in the context of accounting software.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
2. 5-6 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably in software applications.
3. Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or similar.
4. Strong portfolio showcasing design projects, user flows, and case studies, particularly for desktop and mobile applications.
5. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies, especially in the context of financial applications.
6. Expertise in HTML/CSS, with the ability to translate designs into responsive layouts for both desktop and mobile.
