Job summary

Praan is seeking a talented UI/UX designer to craft intuitive experiences for web, mobile apps, and device interfaces. You will create wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity designs that are production-ready and scalable.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and design teammates to translate complex requirements into clear user journeys, iterate rapidly, and contribute to a cohesive design system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in UI/UX or related field.
• Strong portfolio showing interaction design and visual clarity.
• Excellent fundamentals in typography, layout, color, hierarchy and information design.
• Proven ability to quickly create clear diagrams, wireframes, flows and prototypes.
• Experience with UI motion principles, transitions, micro-interactions and animation.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive experiences for web, mobile apps, and device interfaces with a focus on usability and clarity.
• Create low-fidelity wireframes, user flows and interaction frameworks to explore ideas quickly.
• Develop high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes that are production-ready and scalable.
• Translate complex technical and operational requirements into simple, easy-to-understand user journeys.
• Design and prototype UI motion and animations to communicate system states, feedback, transitions and interactions clearly.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve a library of reusable UI components, patterns, and design guidelines.
• Create clear interaction diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes that communicate intent to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure feasibility and consistency.
• Iterate rapidly on designs based on feedback, usage insights, and real-world constraints.
• Ensure visual and interaction consistency across products by adhering to and refining design systems.
• Present design work clearly, articulating rationale, trade-offs, and user impact.
• Balance speed and quality while managing multiple design tasks in parallel.

Job Description

Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in UI/UX design, interaction design, HCI, visual communication, or a related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design depth, systems thinking, and visual clarity
• Excellent fundamentals in typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and information design
• Proven ability to quickly create clear diagrams, wireframes, flows, and prototypes with a strong interaction point-of-view
• Strong understanding of UI motion principles, transitions, micro-interactions and animation for usability and feedback
• Experience designing both low-fidelity frameworks and high-fidelity interfaces
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience collaborating with cross functional teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Prototyping skills
• Experience working on hardware-enabled products or system-driven software
