Job summary

Cimba.ai is seeking a hands-on UI/UX Designer to own the design experience for our AI-powered product, spanning problem discovery, workflows, and high-fidelity interfaces. You will partner with product managers, engineers, and founders to translate business needs into elegant solutions.

You will craft dashboards, data visuals, and AI-assisted interactions, ensuring usability and trust in AI outputs while maintaining scalable design systems and prototypes for rapid validation.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in UI/UX or product design for B2B SaaS/AI products.
• Strong understanding of user experience, interaction design, IA, and visual design.
• Excellent command of tools such as Figma and prototyping/design systems.
• Experience designing complex web applications with multiple user roles, workflows, and data states.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, usability, and design principles.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into simple and intuitive product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design across web applications from discovery and user flows to wireframes, prototypes, visual design, and implementation.
• Design intuitive experiences for AI-powered workflows, agents, insights, recommendations, and task execution.
• Simplify complex data, analytics, and operational workflows into clear and actionable experiences.
• Design dashboards, data visualizations, tables, filters, alerts, workflows, and interactive states.
• Create experiences that make AI outputs explainable, transparent, and trustworthy.
• Design human-in-the-loop experiences such as recommendations, approvals, exceptions, reviews, and audit trails.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and founders to translate business requirements into elegant product experiences.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to validate design decisions.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes to communicate interactions and validate ideas before development.
• Collaborate with engineers during implementation to ensure design quality and consistency.
• Continuously improve the product based on customer feedback, usage data, and usability insights.

As a UI/UX Designer at Cimba.ai, you will own the design experience across our AI-powered product, from understanding user problems and defining workflows to creating high-fidelity interfaces and working closely with engineering to ship them. You will work on experiences involving AI agents, dashboards, data exploration, workflow automation, recommendations, approvals, and enterprise analytics. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex product problems and believes great design should make powerful technology feel simple.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in UI/UX or product design, preferably working on B2B SaaS, enterprise, fintech, analytics, AI, or data-heavy products.
• Strong understanding of user experience, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
• Excellent command of tools such as Figma and prototyping/design systems.
• Experience designing complex web applications with multiple user roles, workflows, and data states.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, usability, and design principles.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into simple and intuitive product experiences.
• Strong product thinking: you should be comfortable asking, \"Why? \", not just designing what is requested.
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a high bar for visual quality.

Good to Have:

• Experience designing AI/ML products, copilots, agentic workflows, or conversational interfaces.
• Experience with fintech, financial operations, business intelligence, analytics, or enterprise software.
• Experience designing complex dashboards and data visualization.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience working in an early-stage startup where you have owned large parts of the product design lifecycle.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and React is a plus.
