Job summary

Commergence is seeking a hands-on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Engineer in India to design, build, and deploy custom applications using Adobe App Builder. You will create responsive UI with React and React Spectrum and develop event-driven integrations via Adobe I/O Events and Webhooks.

Ideal candidates have strong experience with REST APIs, OAuth/JWT security, and cloud-native serverless backend services using Node.js, along with a track record of integrating AEP with CRM, CMS, and external

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
• Proven experience developing custom applications and extensions using Adobe App Builder.
• Strong UI development experience with React.js, preferably React Spectrum and Adobe's Spectrum design system.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, working with JSON, and implementing asynchronous programming patterns.
• Hands-on knowledge of Adobe I/O Runtime, Actions, Events, and Webhooks.
• Strong understanding of OAuth, JWT, API security, and secure application development.
• Experience integrating AEP with CRM, CMS, data platforms, and external APIs.
• Familiarity with AEP capabilities such as Real-Time Customer Profile, Segmentation, Datasets, Streaming Ingestion, and Destinations.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native development, and deployment automation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work across distributed systems and multiple environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom applications and extensions using Adobe App Builder.
• Build responsive, intuitive, and reusable UI components and custom interfaces using React and React Spectrum.
• Develop event-driven integrations leveraging Adobe I/O Events, Adobe I/O Runtime Actions, and Webhooks.
• Build scalable backend services and serverless functions using Node.js.
• Work extensively with AEP APIs and services, including Profiles, Segmentation, Datasets, Streaming Ingestion, and Destinations.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, and Adobe I/O security mechanisms.
• Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure cloud-native applications following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, solution architects, UI/UX designers, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and deployment issues across Development, Staging, and Production environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, source code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Ensure solutions meet standards for performance, scalability, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
