Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Pune is seeking a senior Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst to drive full-stack development across front-end and back-end systems. You will lead design, development, and deployment of complex software, translating business requirements into scalable solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in React.js, Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and modern DevOps tools.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
• Proven experience in backend development using Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Solid experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with modern development tools and practices, including Git, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in production and non-production environments.
• Drive the evaluation and adoption of new technologies and frameworks to improve application performance and developer productivity.
• Participate in all phases of the agile development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.
