Job summary

Manatal in Bengaluru, India is looking for a web developer to design and implement new features for our WordPress-based websites. The role requires both back-end and front-end development experience, as well as proficiency in PHP and GIT.

The ideal candidate will help maintain high-performance levels of the CMS, develop responsive designs, and will ideally have experience with React and AWS. A solid understanding of the latest industry trends in content management systems is a must.

Job description

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality.
• Projects hands on experience working in CMS (Content Management System) using WordPress.
• Establishing and guiding the websites architecture.
• Responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT.
• Good understanding and working knowledge on AWS env.
• Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
• Hands-on experience of using a front-end development framework, such as React.(Nice to have).
