Job Description

We are lookingfor a Compiler Engineer to collaborate closely with customers, understand theircompiler needs, and design and develop compiler solutions tailored to diversecustomer requirements. The role involves working across compiler front-end,middle-end, and back-end components, implementing language features, codegeneration techniques, optimization algorithms, and other compilerfunctionalities.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with customers to understandtheir compiler needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technicalspecifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain different phases ofthe compiler, including front-end, middle-end, and back-end components, to meetcustomer-specific requirements.
• Implement language features, code generationtechniques, optimization algorithms, and other functionalities according tocustomer specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements incompiler technology, programming languages, and industry standards to providevaluable insights and contribute to the improvement of the compiler for variouscustomers.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to juniormembers of the compiler engineering team, fostering knowledge sharing andprofessional growth.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's,Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a relatedfield.

Technical Skills (Must haves):

• Extensive experience in compiler development,with a strong understanding of compiler architecture, front-end and back-endcomponents, code generation, and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such asC/C++ or other relevant languages used in compiler implementation.
• Familiarity with compiler frameworks such asLLVM, GCC, or other industry-standard compilers.

Need to have (Can be bridged):

• Strong communication skills and ability to workcollaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate customer requirements intotechnical specifications and deliver tailored compiler solutions.

Good to have (Not essential):

• Priorexperience in a multi-customer environment, adapting to diverse customerrequirements and delivering solutions tailored to their needs.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Experiencementoring junior compiler engineers and contributing to knowledge sharing andprofessional growth within the team.
