Job summary

EY's GDS Tax Technology seeks a ServiceNow Developer to join the Tax Staff in Bangalore, India. The role focuses on ITSM, custom modules and integration with external systems within a dynamic tax technology environment.

You will work on developing UI, workflows and catalog requests, while collaborating with tax professionals and other developers to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing ServiceNow modules including ITSM, Contract management and Asset Management
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development platform and UI/Client scripting
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations and web technologies (HTML, CSS, AngularJS)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new ServiceNow modules, workflows and catalog requests
• Build custom ServiceNow applications with data tables, UI and business logic
• Collaborate with ServiceNow admins to ensure stable environments across development, staging and production
• Upgrade and maintain ServiceNow instances with minimal disruption to IT operations
• Contribute to UI design and widget development using ServiceNow tools

TTT - ServiceNow developer- Tax Staff

EY's GDS Tax Technology team's mission is to develop, implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY's core Tax practice, you'll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding database, data analytics and programming skills.

Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

EY's GDS Tax Technology team members work side-by-side with the firm's partners, clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add, improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax.

GDS Tax Technology works closely with clients and professionals in the following areas: Federal Business Tax Services, Partnership Compliance, Corporate Compliance, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, and Internal Tax Services. GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the global TAX service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.

EY is currently seeking an Anaplan Senior to join our Tax Technology practice in Bangalore, India.

The opportunity

We're looking for a Tax Staff with expertise inServiceNow developer to join the TTT team in Tax SL. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a pioneer firm whilst being instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.

Key Functions:

• Module with ITSM, Custom application, integration, Service Portal, CSM are the recommended.


• Work as part of an agile team developing, designing, and implementing new application modules, workflows, and catalog requests


• Build custom applications in ServiceNow by defining custom data tables, user interface and adding business logic


• Strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, Contract management, Resource management, ITFM CMDB, Asset Management, Change Management, Custom Development, etc.


• Integration with 3rd party application, working experience in scripted REST API, SOAP etc.


• Must have worked on ServiceNow version upgrade.


• Experience in developing the Application functionalities using HTML, CSS and Angular JS.


• Experience in designing and development of UI using ServiceNow.


• Experience in ServiceNow Widgets, Client-side scripting, Server-side scripting and ITSM modules


• Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and configure workflow


• Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests


• Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations


• Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible


• Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing, sandbox, and production environments


• Participate in ongoing production support and end user support


• Very Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Suggested technical certification

• ServiceNow admin certification


• Micro Certifications in ServiceNow concepts are advantageous


• Hands on day-to-day management of multiple ServiceNow instances, including managing major releases and patches, managing the SDLC release processes and implementing code into the platform to solve ever-changing needs.


• Minimum 1-3 years of coding, testing and implementing ServiceNow as a technical resource.


• Strong working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise application


• Experience developing workflows, Business Rules, ACLS, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Date Policies, UI Actions, and table extension in ServiceNow.
