Job summary

Groupe SEGULA Technologies SA in Chennai, India seeks a skilled design engineer with expertise in UG NX/Siemens NX for automotive interior and exterior trim components. You will work with cross-functional teams to interpret customer specifications and translate them into robust 3D models and 2D drawings.

Key capabilities include GD&T, DFM/DFA, injection molding, tooling, and a strong grasp of sheet/solid modeling, assemblies, and surfacing within NX tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UG NX/Siemens NX.
• Automotive OEM/Tier-1 experience in interior trims, exterior trims, or plastic components is preferred.
• Good understanding of automotive trim design and plastic component design.
• Knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA, injection molding, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with sheet/solid modeling, assemblies, surfacing, drafting, and NX design tools.
• Ability to interpret 2D drawings and customer specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
