Surbana Jurong India is seeking a Transport Planner to join our Gurgaon team. You will work on strategic transport planning, data-driven modelling, and infrastructure design to improve mobility for communities.

You will lead projects, develop strategies and assessments, and collaborate with engineers, policymakers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in transport planning or related field required.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience in transport planning or traffic engineering.
• Experience with transport modelling tools (VISSIM, VISUM, CUBE) and GIS.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport planning projects from inception to delivery.
• Develop transport strategies, studies, and assessments.
• Direct primary and secondary data collection.
• Analyse traffic patterns and model scenarios for urban and regional networks.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations.
