Job summary

White Force Outsourcing Services in Mumbai invites an experienced Transportation Business Development professional to lead end-to-end growth of our freight and logistics services.

You will build and scale FTL and PTL transportation offerings, develop partner networks, optimize pricing, and collaborate with Sales, Operations and Finance to ensure profitable lane performance and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale FTL and PTL transportation business across India.
• Develop transportation solutions that can be offered along with warehousing services.
• Generate transportation business from existing customers as well as new customers.
• Develop lane-wise pricing, commercial models and profitable transportation solutions.
• Establish transporter SLAs and performance scorecards.
• Monitor service quality, vehicle placement, on-time delivery and claims.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and Technology teams to build a scalable transportation offering.

Role & responsibilities

Transportation Business Development

• Build and scale FTL and PTL transportation business across India.
• Develop transportation solutions that can be offered along with warehousing services.

• Develop lane-wise pricing, commercial models and profitable transportation solutions.

Transporter Network

• Build a strong national network of transport companies, fleet owners and regional operators.
• Leverage existing industry relationships to rapidly develop capacity across key lanes and industrial clusters.
• Negotiate rates, commercial terms and strategic partnerships with transporters.
• Develop preferred-carrier and backup-carrier networks.

P&L Commercial Ownership

• Own the revenue, margins and profitability of the transportation business.
• Drive cost optimization and competitive procurement.
• Track customer-wise and lane-wise profitability.

Operations; Performance

• Establish transporter SLAs and performance scorecards.
• Monitor service quality, vehicle placement, on-time delivery and claims.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and Technology teams to build a scalable transportation offering.
