Job summary

Indegene Inc. in Bengaluru is seeking a Transform AI Strategy Lead to drive enterprise-wide AI transformation by aligning priorities, investments, and governance across the organization.

You will translate strategic objectives into scalable transformation programs, manage enterprise portfolios, and enable leadership with measurable business impact. A strong background in AI, digital transformation, and PMO leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in Strategic PMO, Enterprise Transformation, Portfolio Management, Strategy Execution, Management Consulting, Business Transformation, or Large-scale Technology Programs.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi-functional strategic initiatives with exec stakeholders.
• Strong expertise in strategic planning, portfolio governance, enterprise PMO operations, and benefits realization.
• Experience establishing governance structures and transformation management practices in complex environments.
• Working knowledge of AI, Generative AI, Digital Transformation, and emerging tech.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic planning process for enterprise AI transformation and translate vision into actionable plans.
• Develop and manage an integrated AI transformation roadmap across strategy, governance, and delivery functions.
• Convert priorities into structured programs with milestones, resources, investments, and metrics.
• Collaborate with executives to evaluate, prioritize, and sequence initiatives by business value and readiness.
• Lead portfolio governance with enterprise visibility into progress, investments, risks, and value realization.
• Establish governance artifacts including portfolios, pipelines, risk registers, and dashboards.
• Foster collaboration across Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, HR, and Transformation teams to accelerate execution.
• Drive leadership reviews and stage-gate assessments focused on outcomes and value.
• Assess transformation readiness across sponsorship, governance, workforce capability, and technology maturity.
• Align investment assumptions and benefit realization with Finance and Measurement teams.
• Identify strategic risks and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build executive reporting frameworks for data-driven decision-making and governance.
• Continuously improve methodologies to enhance execution and agility.
• Monitor AI and digital transformation trends to identify new opportunities.

Indegene is seeking a highly strategic and execution-oriented Transform AI Strategy Lead to drive enterprise-wide AI transformation by aligning business priorities, technology investments, workforce evolution, and value realization into a cohesive transformation agenda. This role will serve as the strategic control tower for Indegene's AI-native transformation, ensuring that vision, investments, governance, execution, and outcomes remain tightly connected across the organization. The individual will be responsible for translating strategic objectives into scalable transformation programs, managing enterprise portfolios, driving governance excellence, and enabling leadership teams to make informed decisions based on measurable business impact. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in strategy execution, enterprise transformation, portfolio management, consulting, or PMO leadership, along with a strong understanding of AI, digital transformation, organizational change, and business operations. You will work closely with executive leadership, business units, transformation teams, finance, technology, and delivery organizations to accelerate Indegene's journey toward becoming an AI-native healthcare technology company.

• Define and drive the strategic planning process for enterprise AI transformation, translating organizational vision into actionable and measurable execution plans.
• Develop and manage an integrated AI transformation roadmap spanning business strategy, workforce transformation, technology, governance, innovation, adoption, measurement, and delivery functions.
• Convert strategic priorities into structured programs with clear milestones, resource plans, investment requirements, ownership models, dependencies, risks, and success metrics.
• Partner with executive stakeholders to evaluate, prioritize, and sequence transformation initiatives based on strategic importance, business value, and organizational readiness.
• Lead portfolio governance processes that provide enterprise-wide visibility into transformation progress, investments, risks, dependencies, value realization, and decision requirements.
• Establish and maintain governance artifacts including transformation portfolios, investment pipelines, risk registers, dependency maps, decision logs, benefits realization plans, and executive dashboards.
• Facilitate collaboration across Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, HR, and Transformation teams to resolve interdependencies and accelerate execution.
• Drive leadership reviews, steering committees, portfolio governance forums, and stage-gate assessments focused on business outcomes and value creation.
• Assess transformation readiness across key dimensions such as sponsorship, governance, workforce capability, technology maturity, adoption, measurement, and operational support.
• Collaborate with Finance and Measurement functions to align investment assumptions, forecasting models, benefit realization frameworks, and value-tracking mechanisms.
• Proactively identify strategic risks, resource constraints, execution bottlenecks, and investment trade-offs, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build executive reporting frameworks that provide concise, data-driven insights supporting informed decision-making and governance excellence.
• Continuously improve portfolio management methodologies, governance frameworks, operating rhythms, and transformation processes to enhance execution effectiveness and organizational agility.
• Monitor emerging trends in AI, digital transformation, organizational change, and enterprise strategy to identify new opportunities for innovation and business growth.

• Proven track record of successfully leading complex, multi-functional strategic initiatives involving executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong expertise in strategic planning, portfolio governance, enterprise PMO operations, transformation program management, RAID management, benefits realization, and executive reporting.
• Experience establishing governance structures, operating models, decision-making frameworks, and transformation management practices in complex organizational environments.
• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Digital Transformation, Product Development, Innovation Management, and Emerging Technologies.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to synthesize large and complex information into strategic recommendations and leadership insights.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to engage effectively at executive levels.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience evaluating strategic trade-offs related to investments, resources, priorities, and business outcomes.

• Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Technology Services, Consulting, or other knowledge-intensive industries will be a strong advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Management, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. PMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe, or related certifications will be an added advantage.
