Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–2 years post-qualification experience in M&A tax/transactions.
• Experience in deal structuring, due diligence, negotiations and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead deal structuring and due diligence from commercial, tax and regulatory perspectives.
• Interact with client teams and counter party teams during engagements.
• Participate in negotiations with counter parties to defend our positions and the client’s asks.
• Provide implementation assistance on the solutions we provide.
• Review and negotiate transaction documents.
• Provide tax opinions and other aspects critical to deal closure.
• Manage projects to ensure all deal elements are considered and closed.
• Create sharp, simple presentations and mitigate risk in documentation and discussions.
• Demonstrate sharp technical competence and quick problem solving.

• Deal structuring, group restructuring and due diligence from a commercial, tax and regulatory perspective
  
• Lead engagements for the above and interact with (i) client teams; and (ii) counter party teams
  
• Participate in negotiations on the above with the counter party to defend our positions and the asks of our client, understand the commercial construct of the larger transaction and how these discussions fit into the larger framework of the deal

Requirements
