GSOT in Chennai, India is recruiting trainee roles across Order Management. You’ll learn to develop features, APIs and UI, while working with real customer implementations.
People coming from CS/IT, engineering or related backgrounds are welcome, with emphasis on problem solving and a willingness to learn. Tracks include Software Development, Functional Consulting and Implementation, Testing and Quality Engineering, and Release Engineering and DevOps.
Software, ecommerce, retail, supply chain and customer experience all come together in Order Management, and that's exactly where this role sits.
GSOT is growing its Chennai team, and we're bringing in trainees to work on enterprise Order Management products and real customer implementations. You'll be learning how retailers manage the full order lifecycle, from order capture and inventory availability through to fulfilment, delivery, cancellations, returns and exchanges. With more than 50 implementations delivered across 15 countries, we've built up a lot of experience in this space, and this is a genuine opportunity to learn from people who've done the work, on products and projects that matter internationally.
Depending on where your strengths and interests sit, you could join us in:
Day to day, that might mean building product features, APIs, integrations and user interfaces, or working with customers to turn their requirements into practical solutions. It could involve preparing and running functional, integration and regression tests, or supporting build and deployment processes and managing application environments. Wherever you land, you'll be part of taking a solution from initial design through to implementation and live support.
We welcome recent graduates and early-career candidates from Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or related backgrounds, along with anyone who has built equivalent practical skills another way. Previous Order Management experience isn't necessary. What matters more to us is:
If you're drawn to development, some understanding of programming fundamentals will help. For functional roles, we're looking for people who are curious about how businesses and systems actually work. Good testers enjoy finding problems and thinking through edge cases, and if release engineering interests you, a curiosity about scripting, cloud platforms and deployment automation will serve you well.
Structured training across Order Management, ecommerce and omnichannel fulfilment, software development, integrations, implementation methods, testing and release processes. You'll work closely with experienced specialists throughout, and build real expertise in a part of enterprise technology that's only getting more important.
