Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE India Private Limited in Chakan MIDC Phase-II is seeking Diploma Engineer Trainees to support production by assembling geared motors and gear boxes. You will perform unit assembly, follow procedures, verify parts, and ensure clean, safe work habits on a daily basis.

The role requires 0–2 years in engineering, with a Diploma or ITI qualification. Attractive features include transport facility, canteen, and a 5-day general shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI with relevant engineering background.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic measurement instrument usage and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of units as per schedule.

• Communicate shortages of material.
• Part picking from locations as needed.
• Communicate for daily output and pending jobs.
• Maintain workstation, tools and equipment.
• Part verification before assembly.

• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Maintain Quality Management System as applicable.
• Authorized to stop assembly if non-conformity found.
• Authorized to release unit for testing.

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven Diploma Engineer Trainees to join our Production team. You will be responsible for handling assembly operations of Geared motors & Gear Boxes.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of units as per given schedule.
• Follow standard assembly procedures & techniques.
• Communicate for shortages of material.
• Part picking from the locations as needed.
• Communicate for daily output and pending jobs.
• Up keeping workstation, tools & equipment's.
• Part verification before assembly.
• Follow safety rules while working.
• Inform about damaged components – tools.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Maintain Quality Management System as applicable.
• Authorized to stop assembly if found any non-conformity during assembly.
• Authorized to release unit for testing.

Qualifications -

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile Engineering or ITI (Fitter)

Experience -

0 – 2 years in engineering industry

Required Skills -

Understanding of Engineering drawings & Specification, conceptual knowledge of assembly, Use of measuring instruments

Pay range and compensation package

• CTC 2.5 to 2.8 lakhs per annum
