Job summary

Secure Network Solutions India Private Limited in Chennai is seeking a Network Engineer to assist in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs and other security appliances. You will monitor network performance, ensure system availability, and install various network devices and services including routers, switches, load balancers, and QoS.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT, CCNA, and Fortinet NSE1-2 as a plus, with strong networking knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• CCNA mandatory; Fortinet NSE1-2 are a plus.
• Good understanding of basic networking concepts – TCP/IP, OSI Model, Routing & Switching.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements
