Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Sales/Trading Desk in pricing financial markets products (FX Spot, FX Swaps, Forwards, Currency Options, Derivatives).
• Monitor risk against regulatory and internal limits.
• Generate daily MIS and regular desk reporting.
• Capture trades in front office systems and reconcile deals.
• Assist with dealing pad management and reconciliation with front office systems.
• Communicate with financial intermediaries and clients.
• Support desk heads on projects, marketing (presentations, pitch books) and data analysis.
• Prepare internal memos, product papers, pricing models, etc.
• Liaise with Middle Office, Back Office, Coverage and Trade teams.

Trainee, Global Markets Division (Foreign Exchange and Interest Rates)

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist the Sales/ Trading Desk in pricing financial markets products like Foreign Exchange Spot, Foreign Exchange Swaps, Foreign Exchange Forwards, Currency Options and Derivatives which may involve the use of Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon, other financial product pricers.
• Assist the desk in monitoring risk against regulatory and internal limits.
• Responsible for generating daily MIS and regular reporting for the desk.
• Assists the desk in capturing trades in the front office systems which may involve the use of different booking systems.
• Manage the dealing pad and reconciliation of deals with Front Office systems
• Assist the desk in communicating with financial intermediaries and clients.
• Assist the Desk Heads and Department Head on specific projects, marketing efforts (like presentations, pitch books) and analysis of financial/ economic data.
• Assist the Desk Heads to work on internal memos, product papers, pricing models, etc.
• Liaise with internal teams like Middle Office, Back Office, Coverage, Trade with regard to desk requirements.

Systems Skills:

• Required: MS Office (Advanced Excel, Advanced Presentation, Word)
• Desired: Basic Programming skills

Technical skills:

• CA/Management degree or equivalent or 0-1 years of financial markets experience.
