Job summary

Together Dental is seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse in Southend to join our friendly practice. No prior dental experience is required; we offer a structured apprenticeship or recognised diploma programme with support from an experienced clinical team.

You will train while assisting dentists, preparing rooms, and learning infection control and patient care. A caring, motivated team member is encouraged to apply.

Hours: (33 hours) Tuesday 08:30-13:00, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 08:45-17:15 + x2 Sat per month 08:45-13:15

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our practice as a Trainee Dental Nurse.

The Role

As Part Of Our Nursing Team, You Will

• Support our dentists and clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms to the highest clinical standards.
• Deliver an excellent experience for every patient.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Keep accurate patient records.
• Work collaboratively with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

For Trainee Dental Nurses

No previous dental experience is required, although experience in customer service or healthcare is advantageous.
