Job summary

Opkey invites you to join its fast-growing Accelerator Team in Noida as a Trainee Automation Test Engineer. You will begin by identifying automation test cases, configuring the Selenium Test Environment (STE), and creating an automation test plan under supervision.

As you progress, you will automate test design, implement it within the project framework, run and debug tests, monitor defects, and engage with customers to resolve issues while gaining hands-on Java coding experience in automation

Qualifications

• 0–6 months automation testing experience or completed automation testing training.
• Strong Java coding skills.
• Effective communication must be demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Identify automation test cases and select appropriate tests.
• Apply designs and document the automation test strategy.
• Create an automation test plan and obtain approval.
• Configure Selenium Test Environment (STE).
• Participate in Selenium Environment Setup with an IDE.
• Automate framework design and implement per project structure.
• Create, enhance, run, and debug test cases.
• Collate and monitor defect management process.
• Manage changes and execute regression tests.
• Provide solutions for object identity and error handling issues.
• Interact with customers/clients to resolve issues and update on status.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Identifying and selecting the automation test cases
• Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
• Creating an automation test plan and getting approval
• Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE) in order to set it up
• Participating in Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
• Automating the design of a framework
• Implementing it as per the structure of the project
• Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
• Collating and monitoring the defect management process
• Managing the changes and executing regression tests
• Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling
• Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation

Desired Candidate Profile

• 0- 6 months automation testing experience or
• Completed training in automation testing and/or good in Java coding.
• Effective communication skills.
