Job summary

Opkey invites you to join its fast-growing Accelerator Team in Noida, as a Trainee Automation Test Engineer. You will start by learning the automation testing framework and applying Selenium to build robust test suites.

Responsibilities include identifying test cases, configuring the Selenium Test Environment, creating and running automated tests, tracking defects, and collaborating with clients to resolve issues while improving test coverage and reliability.

Qualifications

• 0-6 months automation testing experience.
• Completed training in automation testing and/or strong Java coding.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and selecting the automation test cases.
• Applying automation test design and documenting the automation test strategy.
• Creating an automation test plan and getting approval.
• Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE).
• Participating in Selenium Environment Setup with an IDE.
• Automating the design of a framework and implementing it as per project structure.
• Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases.
• Collating and monitoring the defect management process.
• Managing changes and executing regression tests.
• Interacting with customers/clients to resolve issues and update on the situation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identifying and selecting the automation test cases
• Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
• Creating an automation test plan and getting approval
• Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE) in order to set it up
• Participating in Selenium Environment Setup with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
• Automating the design of a framework
• Implementing it as per the structure of the project
• Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test cases
• Collating and monitoring the defect management process
• Managing the changes and executing regression tests
• Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling
• Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the
  situation

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 0- 6 months automation testing experience or
• Completed training in automation testing and/or good in Java coding.
• Effective communication skills.
